The Geography Blog focusing on all things geography: human, physical, technical, space, news, and geopolitics. Also known as Geographic Travels with Catholicgauze!
Written by a former National Geographic employee who also proudly served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It is time for you readers to comment on Catholicgauze. Questions, comments, complants? Want more posts that explain academic papers? Geographical theories posts? Less current events? More geography of the world posts?
I love all your posts. As a geography instructor (college) I'm finding many things I can use in my own classroom. I especially love the maps you find. I like the daily commentary and find that you have an excellent sense of the world around you. Good luck in your *adventure* and I will look forward to your posts from Iraq. Seeing it through your eyes will be quite different, I think, and much more relevant to what we need to KNOW - not what the media tells us. Keep it all coming, I say!
I wouldnt mind seeing more geography theories posts, particularly those concentrating on the postmodern side of things. I have a lot of trouble making sense of radical geographers, feminist geographers, etc, etc.
Catholicgauze, I love your blog!! As a HS Geography teacher I can't begin tell you the number of times I have used your maps, current events, and other tidbits. It is, by far, my favorite blog! Keep up the good work! mblacko on the Mississippi
I would like to see some posts on the geography of food and porn. Since these are the two favorite man things (for a lot of men at least), this is a substantially understudied issue. Love your blog, keep up the good work.

Along with the pevious posters, I like all of your posts. They're always interesting and informative. I would like to see more geography maps, though.

Great suggestions all,
Food is a diffently possible but porn I do not think so (though I was thinking about an internet geography of sin post).
I am touched to hear this blog helps in the formal education process
