A France from the Past

No, President Chirac has not declared his allegiance to the Orcish Horde and demanded war; the above is the flag of President Petain- the Fromage speaking, backstabbing, collaborator who led Vichy France during World War II.

I have recently stumbled across an excellent French website which contains maps of Vichy France. The site contains detailed maps which show the divisions France was put under. While I knew Elsass-Lothringen was ceded back to Germany and the Italians took little pockets in the south; however, I did not know about forbidden zones for war refugees, zones for German-Belgian partial control in the north, and Italian expansion in 1942.

Historical maps have always been an interest of mine and this website does not disappoint.
