Cities from Space During Night
La Cartoteca links to a neat gallery by NASA showing cities at night. The images are beautiful. For generations man has sought to control the night and turn it from a time of fear to just another time period. Through energy consumption, economic, political, and demographic growth the Western world has succeeded and the rest of the Earth is on its way.
