This fall the blog will take a temporary new turn. While doing my best to update you all in the world of geography on a close to daily basis there will be a new feature. This fall Catholicgauze will be in Iraq. Look for posts concerning life in Iraq, the geography of Iraq, and the geography of the war.

Wow! Looking forward to your reports.
You're a nut
Wow, I'm quite jealous. I wanted to go this year too but don't think time or money will allow. Are you allowed to say in what capacity, where and why you're going?
Chirol,
More on that very soon.
I don't know you, and really can't remember how I found your blog (maybe a year ago?), but I have become a fairly frequent reader. And as a fellow USG out in Baghdad, I'm quite sure we'll be lucky to have more people who think like you. Get out here soon; this spring has been quite nice, and you don't want your first Iraq experience to be 140F in Camp Sully. Best travels.
May God bless you and surround you with his angels, and keep you safe!
