Geoscience of Lost
In honor of Catholicgauze’s once favorite television show LOST coming back is a look at the geoscience of LOST. Previously the blog examined maps but I never took into account the weird magnetic feature of the island. According to Geotimes the LOST magnetic pull have to be up to one American quadrillion more than the Earth's. Three possible origins exist for the phenomenon: really big volcano, really big space impact, really big nuclear bomb, really big man-made elector magnet. The article touches on other possible theories for the field as well.
